A republican scientific conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Academician U.Kh. Rasulev.

27 Oct 2019

On October 23, 2019, at the Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a republican scientific conference on “Physical electronics and photonics”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Academician U.Kh. Rasuleva.

The chief researcher of the Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a world-famous physicist in the field of physical electronics, who opened a new school for studying the phenomenon of surface ionization of organic and bioorganic compounds, on their basis for the development of gas analytical instruments Rasulev U.Kh. being executed 80 years.

The conference discussed the current state of knowledge in the field of physical electronics and photonics, both in fundamental research and applied development, and also intended to identify promising areas of application of the achievements of fundamental research to solve urgent problems of nano- and microelectronics, optics, electronics, energy and laser technologies .

The conference presents review, original oral and poster presentations in the following areas:

  1. Interaction of atoms and molecules with the surface of a solid: problems of adsorption, electron and ion emission, as well as their applied aspects.
  2. New technologies and materials for energy and electronics.
  3. Optical and photoelectric phenomena, formation of nanostructures based on a wide range of semiconductor materials and nanocrystals, conversion and interaction of optical radiation.
  4. Interaction of laser radiation with matter and laser technologies.
  5. Methods and technologies for obtaining nanostructured materials.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, scientists and specialists from the Institute of Semiconductor Physics. A.V. Rzhanova SB RAS, Russia, Institute of Laser and Plasma Technologies National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Russia Khujand State University named after M.I. Academician B.Gafurov from Tajikistan, Institute of Physics and Technology NPO "Physics-Sun" of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Institute of Materials Science NPO "Physics-Sun" of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Institute of Chemistry and Physics of Polymers of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, International Institute of Solar Energy, Center for Advanced Technologies (CPT) Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as professors, doctoral students, masters and students of the largest university in the country, Tashkent State Technical University named after. The conference heard reports on the development of innovative technologies and the creation of new materials in the field of physics, electronics and photonics. Discussed scientific work on the technology and methods of obtaining nanostructured materials, technology for obtaining new materials for electronics and energy, which is one of the important problems of the economy of Uzbekistan. The application of the results of fundamental research to practical problems, the problems of adsorption, electron and ion emission, as well as their practical aspects, the interaction of laser radiation with substances and the further development of laser technologies, the formation of nanostructures based on a wide range of optical and photoelectric phenomena, semiconductor materials and nanocrystals were widely discussed..

The new scientific results discussed at the conference showed the current state of physical electronics and photonics. Participation in the conference by scientists from various scientific centers made it possible to identify topical problems in these areas of physics and opportunities for cooperation between researchers from different countries within the framework of international and regional scientific and technical programs.
